Why Is a Lead Stuck in Needs Review?

A lead marked Needs Review has a verification check that hasn't cleared yet. There are two kinds of situations this covers:

• Temporary. Sometimes a website or contact check simply needs another attempt -- a site was briefly unreachable, for example. These are retried automatically over time.
• Permanent. If a genuine gap turns up -- like no working email on file -- retrying won't change the outcome, and the lead will eventually be set aside rather than sitting indefinitely.

Either way, you don't need to do anything -- the system keeps working through these in the background, and a lead never sits unresolved forever.
